Shipping policy

Please double check your shipping address to avoid any issues with delivery. Packages will be addressed to the exact address as given on the checkout page. 

Shipping within Canada

Most orders are shipped via Courier (not Canada Post) and will include tracking and insurance, with an estimated delivery time of 2-8 business days.
Some small items may be shipped via Canada Post Oversized Letter Mail if this option is selected at checkout. Canada Post estimates a delivery time of 2-8 business days, however with this service they do not provide delivery deadline guarantees, tracking, or insurance, and it may be affected by Canada Post strikes. 

Shipping to United States
Items will be shipped via Chit Chats/USPS with an estimated transit time of 5-7 Business Days. This service includes tracking and insurance. 

International Shipping

Items will be shipped via Chit Chats/Asendia with an estimated transit time of 5-22 Business Days. In most instances this service includes tracking and insurance, but unfortunately tracking is not available to all countries. Upgrades are very costly but are available through Canada Post. Please contact to discuss international shipping upgrade options.

I am happy to discuss express shipping methods, tracking, or adding insurance for your purchase. These arrangements should be made prior to your purchase and will result in additional charges.

Delivery Deadlines
Delivery times noted above are estimates given by Chit Chats and Canada Post and are not delivery guarantees. Tree Fort Toys cannot be held responsible for items that do not arrive by the estimated date. If your order is required by a certain deadline, please email us for an upgrade to another shipping method with tracking and deadline guarantees. An item is not considered "Lost in the Mail" until 30 days has passed since your order. If your package has not arrived by this time, please email us and we will do our best at assisting you in resolving the issue.

International Customs
Please note that all orders outside of Canada require customs declaration. The full value of the order will be noted on the outside of the package. Tree Fort Toys is not responsible for any customs, duties, or VAT charges.

COVID19 Shipping Delays

Please note that all postal services are experiencing delays due to both Covid 19 safety precautions and an increased volume of packages in the mail stream. All delivery estimates stated above are estimates only, and are subject to possible delays due to Covid. Unfortunately no postal service is honouring guaranteed delivery dates at this time. If you require your package by a specific day, please order with plenty of time to account for possible shipping delays.
